Depression won’t leave unless you do this!

When I was severely depressed, traumatized, broken, using drugs, drinking HEAVILY, taking 4 Tylenol PM’s every night and prescribed medication for clinical depression, my God mom (D'Edra Debbie Webb) told me to find every scripture I could find on healing! She told me to read & meditate on them daily! I reached a point of DESPERATION so I agreed to do it. I found them, typed them, printed them out and taped them to my bathroom mirror. Day 1 I read them and nothing happened. I was still sad… day 2 & 3, nothing happened. Day 4, nothing! I almost thought it was useless. But I kept doing it. I don’t know which day it was but I noticed that I wasn’t “feeling” as sad… I noticed that my perception of life itself was changing! I slowly started putting my methods for self medication down! It was not a quick & easy process! But I made a DECISION. I was talking with someone over the weekend who is struggling with the exact same thing I just told y’all about and I found these scriptures for her. I decided to share here as well for someone who is hurting in silence and feel like they are stuck there. Copy, paste, share, tag and whatever else you need to do to help you or someone else overcome this foul spirit of depression!! The WORD WORKS!! God is HERE TO HEAL.
